Aniseed

Aniseed names the dried fruit of anise (Pimpinella anisum), commonly called a seed. As a perfume note it suggests sweet, liquorice-like spice with a dry herbal edge; the label does not prove that a particular extract is present. It is distinct from star anise and fennel.
