Note combinations
Tea and fig, beyond the obvious
Explore perfumes that list both black tea and fig. Read each composition before choosing: the same two notes can sit within very different scents.
Black tea
A drier, deeper tea-leaf impression than green tea, with warm tannic, hay-like or softly woody edges. Black tea lends texture to citrus, woods and leather; it need not be smoky, milky or lemon-flavoured, and its leaf oxidation is not the same as microbial fermentation.
Fig
Soft ripe flesh with a milky sweetness and a touch of green skin. Compared with fig leaf, the fruit feels rounder and less sharply leafy. A fig accord can soften a floral bouquet or cushion dry woods.
