What does it smell like?
Clove, saffron and coriander give bergamot a dry spicy edge. Damask rose softens amber and leather; Peru balsam, labdanum and several woods make the base more than plain vanilla sweetness. Compare the leather-and-resin depth with Grâce de Klavdia’s lavender, citrus and tobacco; both use spice, but build a different centre.
