Mémoire d’Anna pairs melon and pineapple with watery flowers, sandalwood and vanilla. Blanc de Zhang turns toward coconut, almond and tonka alongside vanilla blossom. Blanc d’Anna is the greener of the two Anna compositions; Mémoire d’Anna is more fruity and aquatic.
For a sweeter comparison, Espoir de Zhang wraps coconut and plum around white flowers and almond vanilla; Rêve de Sisa pairs pineapple with toffee, heliotrope and sandalwood. The spicier pair has another contrast: Esprit de Candela builds rose and leather over balsams and woods, while Grâce de Klavdia brings lavender and citrus to tobacco, carnation flower and West Indian bay. Compare these centres rather than assuming similar golden bottles mean similar scents.
