The Spirit of Dubai
About the house
The Spirit of Dubai’s ornate bottle families contain quite different compositions. Dubai Bahar layers citrus, many fruits and marine notes over flowers, amber and oud.

Dubai Roeya is more concise: mandarin, neroli and tuberose lead through papyrus and saffron to oud and fir. Haibah Oriental combines fruit and aldehydes with incense, rose and a leather base; it is distinct from the separately named Haibah. Aamal Métallique instead puts salty, solar flowers between fruit and resinous woods; the maker does not list a metal note.
In the Dubai group, Ajyal places flowers and brown sugar after a green-marine opening; Sama moves from spicy fruit to salted caramel, oud and leather. Among the larger original editions, Baz starts with coffee and saffron, Abjar with bitter almond and spice, Aamal with rose and coffee, Narjesi with rose and dried fruit, Diwan with berries and iris. Durra has a particularly extensive published pyramid. Abjar Bois, Baz Cuir, Durra Ambre, Narjesi Fleur and Diwan Gourmand are separate editions with different openings and hearts, not simply new bottles for those originals.
