Baz

Baz gives coffee, saffron and a dense mix of spices a fruity edge of plum, berries and bergamot. The maker also places its Falcon Leather accord at the opening. Incense, tobacco, honey, flowers and birch leaves deepen the heart. Woods, balsamic resins, myrrh, tonka, praline and vanilla form a warm base with earthy and animalic shades. Coffee and saffron stand out earlier here than in Baz Cuir’s apple-and-citrus direction.
