West Indian bay

Spicy aromatic leaves with clove-like warmth, dry wood and a bright herbal edge. West Indian bay, Pimenta racemosa, gives florals and tobacco an invigorating spicy contrast. It is distinct from culinary bay laurel; an essence label alone does not specify the extraction method.
