What does it smell like?
Laotian oud, Oman Gold frankincense and Tonkin musk give Oud Al Melka a deep woody, resinous character. Sage, juniper, saffron and cardamom sharpen a generous floral blend of sambac jasmine, Bulgarian and Moroccan rose absolutes and ylang extra, with tonka and labdanum adding warmth. The maker also names cedro without clarifying its identity. My Oud takes a different rose-oud direction with Burmese oud, ivy leaf, Taif and Damask roses and castoreum.
