About the house
Kilian Hennessy founded the house in 2007. Liquors, smoke and flowers recur in its collection, but they create more than one kind of richness. Smoking Hot combines tobacco, apple, Bourbon vanilla and moss, setting fruit sweetness against smoke and a darker base.
Sacred Wood brings sandalwood together with a milk note and other woods for a creamier woody texture. Roses On Ice turns instead to cucumber, juniper and rose, with a cooler botanical character. Gourmand touches, the texture of wood and fresh plants give these fragrances different identities beyond a shared taste for sweetness.
