What does it smell like?
Bergamot, coffee, star anise and cardamom give Papier Carbone a bright, roasted, spicy opening. Star anise accounts for the liquorice impression in ORMAIE's story; liquorice itself is not a listed note. Clary sage, lavandin, coriander and nutmeg deepen the aromatic character before Haitian vetiver, patchouli, ambrette and guaiac wood form a dry, textured base, distinct from the house's sweeter florals.
