What does it smell like?
Sauvage Elixir surrounds lavender with warm spice and a darker, sweet base. Nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom and grapefruit open the composition, followed by lavender and then licorice, sandalwood, amber, patchouli and Haitian vetiver. Compared with the EDT’s citrus-pepper emphasis, spice and licorice give this version a markedly different balance.
