What does this note smell like?
A bright, zesty spice suggesting bergamot or mandarin peel, with a warm peppery and sometimes metallic edge. Sichuan pepper gives citrus, flowers and woods a lively snap. It refers to Zanthoxylum rather than black pepper’s Piper; a regional label alone does not identify one species or extract.
