What does this note smell like?
A dry aromatic leaf image, familiar from bay leaves in the kitchen: herbal, peppery and faintly woody, sometimes camphor-like. It can give sweet fruit a savoury counterpoint and sharpen a floral opening. The leaf note does not by itself establish an essential oil, origin or a specific botanical variety.
