What does it smell like?
Almond, mandarin and bergamot meet watery notes in the opening. The heart combines flowers with a civet accord, whose animalic character is a scent description rather than proof of animal-derived ingredients. Guaiac wood, Laotian oud, sandalwood and oakmoss give the base a woody, earthy frame, with vanilla, coffee, amber and pink pepper alongside. This 2017 Parfum departs considerably from Layton's apple, lavender, vanilla and cardamom.
