What does it smell like?
Vanilla and nutty confectionery define Althaïr more directly than Layton’s apple-and-lavender opening. Cinnamon, cardamom, bergamot and orange blossom introduce a Bourbon-vanilla heart with elemi. Praline, candied almond and tonka deepen the sweetness, while musk, Ambroxan and guaiac wood give it a woody backdrop. Elemi gives the sweetness a resinous counterpoint.
