What does it smell like?
Saffron, cloves, amber and citrus lead to asafoetida, costus, camphor and a complex herbal-spicy heart. Civet, oud, sandalwood and musk deepen the base. Try its sulfurous, rooty and cooling contrasts deliberately; this is a more challenging direction than a soft sweet incense.
