What does it smell like?
Jean-Claude Ellena’s Bigarade Concentrée gives bitter orange a dry, green setting. Mandarin, grapefruit, tea, cardamom, pink pepper and blackcurrant broaden the opening; rose, neroli, caraway, honeysuckle and orris connect it to the heart. Grass, hay and cedar bring a dry texture underneath, softened by musk and tonka rather than made into a sweet citrus dessert.
