What does it smell like?

Le Bal des Princes opens with bergamot and black pepper before olibanum meets thyme. The herb gives the resinous heart an aromatic edge. Labdanum brings warmer resin beneath it, with patchouli and vetiver adding earthy dryness to the base. Citrus, herbs and resins carry the composition rather than a sweet floral centre.
