What does this note smell like?
A full balsamic resin image with warm amber-like sweetness, wood and leather-like depth. One documented labdanum absolute is prepared from cistus gum using volatile solvents followed by alcohol purification. This gives a useful comparison with the more aromatic branch-and-leaf cistus oil, not a rule for every supplier.
