What does this note smell like?
A sweet, clear spice impression recalling crushed anise seeds, fennel and licorice candy. Anise adds a cool aromatic edge to herbs and soft sweetness to gourmand notes; Pimpinella anisum is distinct from star anise, and a licorice-like smell does not imply licorice root.
