What does it smell like?
Cedar gives the woody theme a dry edge, while amber, labdanum and benzoin suggest a warmer resinous body. Immortelle adds a dried-flower, hay-like association; incense and oud bring a darker, smoky woody contrast. Pimento supplies a spicy accent without a specified plant part. Beside the sea-air freshness of Voyageur, this is a warmer, more resinous route into wood.
