Moana (Air-Val)

Moana by Air-Val opens with a mixed-fruit image of watermelon, apple, banana and pear. Strawberry and white flowers lead to peach blossom and musk; the peach note names the flower rather than ripe peach flesh. Compare this fruity floral direction with Corine de Farme’s Vaiana, which uses warm milk, heliotrope, whipped cream and vanilla. The same heroine does not establish the same fragrance across makers.
