Violet wood
What does this note smell like?
A perfumery wood label, kept separate from the violet flower itself. In Amethyst Éclat, it sits beside blackberry and musks in the base; compare the woody support with the fruit and floral heart rather than expecting a literal purple timber extract. Lempicka Homme lists violet separately, a useful reminder that this name does not establish one tree, violet-flower oil or ionone molecule.
