Tar
What does this note smell like?
A dark tar-like image: smoky, charred and sometimes leathery, useful as a rough counterpoint to sweet fruit, honey or warm woods. In Hype Hive it is listed in the base; ZIM-PO lists it without stages. Tar is not simply a synonym for leather or raw petroleum. The note does not specify birch, cade, coal, an exact heating process or literal tar as a perfume ingredient.
