Stone pine
What does this note smell like?
An umbrella-pine reference with a useful tree-versus-nut distinction. Its green resin-and-wood image can give fresh or aromatic blends a coniferous backbone; it does not imply the rich food aroma of pine nuts. Stone pine commonly names the Mediterranean Pinus pinea, distinct from Swiss stone pine. The perfume label still does not identify a particular needle oil or timber extract.
