What does this note smell like?
A warm balsamic resin reference with possible liquorice sweetness, woody depth and a mushroom-like shadow. Myrrh is not always simply bitter: documented materials include sweet, ambery or vanillic facets. It can deepen flowers and woods or contrast with bright citrus. The note does not alone establish a Commiphora species, gum extract, distilled oil or a literal mushroom ingredient.
