What does this note smell like?

An absolute reference with balsamic warmth, ambery-vanillic sweetness, liquorice and a possible mushroom-like shade. For one documented absolute, Robertet extracts Commiphora myrrha gum with volatile solvents, then purifies it in alcohol. This differs in preparation from a steam-distilled myrrh oil, though their scent facets can overlap. The example does not identify the perfume’s supplier, exact extraction, species or concentration, and absolute does not mean universally stronger or longer-lasting.
