Makrut lime
What does this note smell like?
Makrut, or combava, is a distinct citrus reference. One supplier’s Citrus hystrix leaf-and-twig oil smells bright, fresh and tart, similar to lime. This helps compare aromatic greenery with juicy peel, but the plant name alone does not tell whether a perfume uses leaf, twig, fruit peel or that particular oil. Keep it distinct from an unspecified ordinary-lime note.
