Notes
Lavender from Tasmania
What does this note smell like?
An aromatic lavender reference in Purple Suede’s heart beside coriander seed, above Indonesian patchouli and Woodleather. The maker describes its Tasmanian lavender as a cultivar of Lavandula angustifolia and places it in a leather-floral composition. Compare the floral-herbal note with the drier leather texture; the whole perfume’s leathery character is not proof that lavender oil alone smells of leather. The exact cultivar and oil preparation are not disclosed.
