What does this note smell like?
A ginger-family reference with a fresh spicy image, possible citrus-peel brightness and peppery or woody edges, useful beside flowers and dry woods. The regional name preserves a source label; it does not establish a harvest site, cultivar, fresh versus dried preparation, extraction or a unique regional smell. Thailand does not by itself turn this note into galangal, and a Madagascar label does not prove one supplier’s oil.
