European larch
What does this note smell like?
A gently resinous, woody conifer reference rather than uniformly sharp needles. A European-larch needle oil can be mild and wood-like, helping connect fresh pine effects with warmer balsamic notes. Larch is a different tree from cedar. The perfume’s tree name does not choose between foliage, wood and oleoresin, so those materials should not be treated as one identical extract.
