Elemi resin

A resin reference with peppery-citrus brightness and a woody incense-like body, linking fresh notes to deeper woods. Gum is the starting resinous material; an essential oil is distilled from it, while a documented elemi resinoid is made with solvent extraction. The resin label does not by itself identify which preparation is used or prove literal burning, a particular species or a stronger perfume.
