Notes
Damask plum
What does this note smell like?
A rounded plum-fruit image with soft pulp, skin-like tartness and a darker fruity sweetness. In the catalogue’s Figo opening by Helder Machado, Damask plum is listed beside fig and pomelo, before cashmere wood, a marine accord and violet. The fruit gives that airy setting a fuller centre. Damask preserves the source’s name; it does not identify damask rose, a particular Damson cultivar or a disclosed plum extract.
