Notes
Blue ginger
What does this note smell like?
A named blue-ginger reference in Les Larmes d’Aden’s base beside myrrh and labdanum. Compare its ginger-like spicy image with the surrounding resins, without assuming a separate blue-flower smell. Blue ginger is also a common name for the ornamental Dichorisandra thyrsiflora, but the perfume’s note does not establish that plant. Its exact botanical identity, processed part and extraction remain unspecified; the name is not proof of blue dye or galangal.
