Black violet
What does this note smell like?
A violet-flower image of soft powder, smooth petals and a possible fruity sweetness. It can soften rose or dry woods while keeping a floral centre; compare it with the greener, watery character of violet leaf. The colour is a name cue, not a measured darker or stronger scent, a separate species or proof of pigment. Neither colour nor floral resemblance identifies the perfume’s raw materials.
