Mancera often places familiar fruit, food and wood themes in unexpected pairings: chocolate with violet, fig with leather, or coffee with a dessert accord. Amore Caffè surrounds coffee with amaretto, ice cream and biscuits; Aoud Cafe puts blackcurrant and peach around it instead.
Fig Extasy combines fig with incense and leather, while Fig Me Up brings tobacco and toffee. Cedrat Boise pairs citrus and fruit with leather and woods; the Intense Extrait includes oud in the heart. These companions change the character of the central theme. The Intense versions are distinct compositions, rather than inherently better versions of the originals.
