About the house
John Varvatos ranges from crisp citrus in woven bottles to darker leather, moss and woods. Artisan combines clementine, tangelo, ginger and orange blossom; Pure adds more herbs and petitgrain, while Blu turns to basil and pine. Forest uses fig leaf and galbanum, Costiero a marine accord with bright citrus. In the XX group, Artisan pairs bergamot with geranium and vetiver; Teal features water lily, salt and driftwood, Indigo mint and cardamom, Intense roasted coffee and tonka, and Elixir rum, rose and leather. The 2004 John Varvatos original is darker, combining date, aromatic herbs and leather. Vintage centres on oakmoss and patchouli over tobacco and suede.
