Trat oud
What does this note smell like?
Deep woody body with warm resin, leather-like shadows and possible smoky or animalic facets. Oud can anchor rose, spices and amber, giving a composition depth beyond dry cedar shavings. A documented agarwood oil is distilled from resin-bearing wood; an oud note in a perfume does not by itself prove that natural oil, a species or an animal ingredient.
