Roasted oak
What does this note smell like?
Toasted wood grain with a smoky edge and a soft, earthy sweetness. Roasted oak gives amber, spices or boozy notes a darker wooden frame, distinct from fresh green branches; it does not by itself specify a whisky barrel or a degree of charring.
