What does this note smell like?
An aromatic-tree name, not simply the smell of black peppercorns. Hercules Club is a common name for Zanthoxylum clava-herculis, a tree in the citrus family; the perfume label does not identify a particular bark, berry or oil. In Volpe, use it as a cue to compare the aromatic heart with the surrounding spices, keeping it distinct from pink-pepper tree and black-pepper notes.
