Narcissus (Absolute)
Note variants
Explore the ordinary note and its absolutes together, or choose one variant. Their scent can differ; fragrance compositions keep the exact published names.
What does this note smell like?
A rich green floral material image with hay-like dryness and a honeyed undertone; it can give a bouquet weight without turning it into a sugary dessert. One documented French absolute uses Narcissus poeticus flowers, first solvent-extracted into a concrete, then refined with ethyl alcohol. That example explains the absolute form, not every perfume’s species, supplier or formula. Absolute does not guarantee greater strength, purity or wear time.
