What does this note smell like?
Think of purple flower spikes rubbed with dry herbs: floral softness, aromatic greenery and a cool camphor-like edge, sometimes with a hay-like sweetness. Lavender connects citrus, spices and woods without becoming a sugary flower. The broad name does not specify one species, growing region or extraction, and should not be assumed to mean the separate lavandin note.
