What does this note smell like?
A dense resinous oud reference: in Beauty x The Beast, the maker places Kalakasi beside Kinam below flowers, vanilla, tobacco and ambergris. Compare that woody foundation with the softer floral opening. Kalakasi remains a separate published name, not proof of a particular species, oil grade or that it smells identical to the neighbouring Kinam.
