Irish moss
What does this note smell like?
Irish moss is a seaweed name, not the tree-growing lichen called oakmoss. In a perfume base, the label invites a comparison of marine greenery with the drier forest impression of moss; it does not prove that a seaweed extract was used. In Green Tea Tropical and Azure Lime, compare the green finish with the brighter opening rather than expecting a fixed salty smell.
