Hamanasu (Japanese rose)
What does this note smell like?
Hamanasu is associated with Rosa rugosa, a rose with fragrant pink or white flowers. Use a petal-like floral reference, distinct from rose hips or rosewood. In Kurozakura it sits with cherry blossom before the caramel, nutmeg and osmanthus heart. The name does not establish one flower extract or make the separate cherry-blossom note part of the rose itself.
