What does this note smell like?
A restrained dry-wood image with muted, mineral-like shading, useful for giving aromatic herbs or flowers a quieter woody frame. Grey is a colour metaphor for the accord, not grey ash, a botanical species or a guaranteed smoky ingredient. Compare its dry texture with creamy sandalwood; the name does not establish strength or aging.
