French labdanum

A labdanum-family image of warm amber-like balsam, dark woody resin and leathery roundness. It can deepen flowers and smooth dry incense without turning them into citrus freshness. The regional name retains the source qualifier; it does not alone establish harvest, supplier, extraction or a distinct local scent. Use the resin-and-leather comparison rather than ranking countries or assuming one private grade.
