Notes
False sandalwood
What does this note smell like?
The name can refer to fragrant woods outside the true sandalwood genus. For example, Eremophila mitchellii wood oil has a smooth, sweet, oak-like woody profile with smoky shades. That is a comparison, not proof that Rose Gold contains this oil: its “false sandalwood” base label does not specify a species. Compare the wood’s texture beside patchouli, amber and musk rather than assuming creamy sandalwood.
