What does this note smell like?
A thick cherry-jam image crossed by dry, peppery aromatic bay leaf. The leaf gives cooked-fruit sweetness a savoury herbal contrast, connecting it to spice and woods. Edgardio Chilini names this combined accord in Languor In Passions; it differs from the separate cherry-in-cognac note.
