Baccarat Rouge 540 combines airy jasmine and saffron with a mineral, ambergris-like accord and a dry woody impression. Ethyl maltol gives that transparent structure a spun-sugar facet. The result sits between flowers, sweetness and mineral warmth rather than reading as a conventional bouquet. Grand Soir is the house’s denser, more balsamic amber.
Saffron gives the bitter-almond opening a dry, spicy edge. Jasmine and Virginia cedar lead into woody, musky notes with an ambergris accord, Ambroxan and Cashmeran. The base brings warmth and softness to the sharper almond-and-spice contrast.
